Stone Lake Counseling is currently a private-pay practice and is not in-network with insurance companies. This allows us to focus entirely on your care without limitations often imposed by insurance. If appropriate, I can provide a Superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from counseling. Many people seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply want support navigating life's challenges. If you're wondering whether counseling could help, I'd be happy to talk with you about your concerns and determine whether Stone Lake Counseling is the right fit for your needs.
-
That's completely okay. Many of my clients are attending counseling for the first time. My goal is to create a welcoming, comfortable environment where you can ask questions, move at your own pace, and feel supported throughout the process.
-
Yes. Counseling is confidential, with a few legal exceptions required by law, such as concerns about immediate safety for yourself and others, suspected abuse or neglect, or a court order. These limits to confidentiality will be reviewed with you during your first appointment so you know exactly what to expect.
